    Today my my cousins Brenden,Alec,and Devin are coming over. My sister is babysitting Devin while I play with Brenden and Alec. We might watch the movie The Incredibles or Monsters inc. I'm going to have so much fun today! :)

April 3rd 2011

         Today it was a rainy and mucky day. My mom and I couldn't go outside to take pictures so we took pictures inside. My mom was going to buy flowers to take pictures of but she didn't want to drive to the store to get flowers. 


      Then we remembered about the Market Day cookies. We let the oven heat up to 350 degrees farenhight. We waited for about 20 minutes for the oven to heat up. Then we put the cookie dough on a cookie sheet and stuck it in the oven. We waited 15 minutes for the cookies to be ready . We took the cookies out of the oven. They smelt delicious. I ate one cookie and I wanted to eat another but I had to save some for the pictures.

            My mom and I put the cookies in three stacks then put them on a white platter. We took pictures at different angles. Out of all the pictures we took this one was my favorite picture. I like this picture because it is in focus. The other pictures are in focus ,but, this is my favorite. And I hope you like it to.

Sports

March 20th, 2011,

         Today my family and I went to the Detroit Historical Museum. We went into a sports section and took pictures. I took these four pictures and turned it into one.

Nightlight

     Today my mom and I went outside to take pictures when it was dark outside. We took a little flashlight and drew pictures in the air. We used a clicker so when we take the picture it wouldn't interfere with it. This is my favorite picture of the year so far and I hope its yours to.

Snowy trees

March 6th, 2011,

    Today my mom and I went to Kenzingtion, to take pictures. We were looking for a spot to take pictures. We were looking for a fence that my mom likes but found this instead. There was a trail going into the woods that we were taking pictures of, but instead I was looking for something else to take pictures of,so I looked to my left and found this. I looked through all my pictures and knew this was the one.

Week 5

Big Sis

Today my mom and I decided to take pictures of my sister.  We went to the boardwalk by my house.  There was snow on the ground and we thought it was the perfect day to take pictures.  The boardwalk it special to me because this is where I will go for bike rides with my family.  I like it because it has great views of the lake in the spring and summer.  I like seeing the ducks and swans swimming in the water.

I picked this picture because it wasn't a dark picture and it is kind of the only good one I got of her.

Remembories 
dedicated my Great-Grandma

I picked this picture because it was the only one that wasn't blurry.  I used a 50mm lens and it was hard to take pictures with.  I used a wide aperture and the shutter speed was slow.  The slow shutter speed caused me to have blurry pictures.  I liked taking pictures of pretty flowers.  

Today was my great-grandma's birthday. My grandma loved flowers.  When I was up north my sister and I picked flowers and gave them to my great-grandma.  She loved when I picked her flowers.   I miss her very very much.

The Tea Party (2)

Hi, I'm back with Tea Party 2.  At the tea party I danced and sang.  I sang the song The Perfect Princess Tea before we ate the food.  I danced before we sang though.  For lunch we had a ham sandwich on white and wheat bread.  We also had a fruit salad.  For desert we had a cupcake and three Heresy kisses.  I had a lot of fun at the tea party and hope to have another one.

Sweet Hearts

Today is Valenines Day and my mom and I wanted to take pictures of sweethearts.  I learned about aperture.  When the aperture is small, less light comes in and when it is big, more light comes in.  I took this picture with a large aperture.  I liked this picture because only the first couple hearts are in focus and the rest trail off.   If I used a small aperture more would have been in focus.  To take this picture we put sweettarts onto of my mirror.

Trees in the Sky

Today my mom and I went to Dodge Park to take some pictures.  We took pictures of the trees because they were skinny and looked cool.  We had to walk back to the park because the car couldn't get through the snow.  When we arrived at the park we saw a van stuck in the snow.  Some guys on snowmobiles tried to help get the van unstuck but they couldn't.  The driver finally got the van unstuck and drove out of the park.  

What I liked about taking pictures at the park was that the trees were skinny thin.  I thought they looked cool.  I thought it would look cool if I took a picture looking upward because I took one like that in Holland.   I picked this picture as my picture for the week because it was my favorite.

I took this picture because I liked the tree and how there was snow on it.  I had fun taking pictures this first week.  This year I wanted to learn how to take close up pictures and to find more interesting things.

Snow day

Hi. This is Ariana. I want to tell you that I'm really excited for the snow day we might have on Wednesday. I am doing the CRAZY method I do. I always flush 3 ice cubes down the toilet,tape a penny on your window,put a spoon under your pillow,and put your pajamas inside-out. It's really fun.

The Tea Party (1)

Hi. It's me! I want to tell you about a wonderful Tea Party I am going to on February 5 th, 2011. It will be so much fun! There will be people dancing and singing. And I will will be one of the people dancing and singing. My sister is going to be in it too. For (early) dinner we are having sandwiches and fruit salad. (I don't know what kind of sandwiches we are having). For desert we are having a humungous cupcake. There are so big you have to eat them with a fork! Also I have been practicing a song called The Perfect Princesse Tea. I have memorized almost all the words. I know I will have lots of fun there.

My Day with Mom

I had a great Saturday with my mom. We went to the Olive Garden with my Aunt Renee and Grandma. Then we went to Twelve Oaks mall. But my Grandma went home. First we went to a store to get my Grandma a birthday present. We got her something really pretty. We went to some other stores to. Then we had to leave because I had to go to a Ballet Rehearsal. We said by then drove off. I had a wonderful time.

My New Years

My New Years was great! I went over to my friends house. We had lots of fun. We played legos,played the old Super Mario Bro's,and of course, we watched the ball drop. My friend, my sister, and I were all doing some pretty funny things. After the ball dropped we made up a game. It has a long name. The name of the game is called I Bet I Was The First Person To Do This. We only play that game on New Years Day @ 12:00 A.M. We were laughing sooooooooo hard. This New years was the best.
